Clinton Ainsworth and Jonathan Weldon

Living Iron, first established in 1998 by Jonathan Weldon was originally Weldon-Wilson Ornamental Iron, and based in Ventura County. In 2002, Jonathan joined the Marine Corps for a four year enlistment, welding on the weekends and between tours overseas. In 2006 Jonathan was honorably discharged and moved back to Sonora and transitioned the business into Living Iron which he ran out of his Grandparents garage. In 2007, Clinton Ainsworth took over Living Iron and moved it to its current location in Downtown Sonora. Clinton brought a construction background with a unique creative style which has allowed the business to grow from functional artwork to large scale commercial projects and everything in between.
